Match Preview

2nd game of the season and every opportunity to have some more fun as a full team and build on the experiences from 2 weeks ago.

We have another first (assuming Pitchero is not confusing me!!) - we have our first ever full squad of 18 girls available for a competitive match. This is a fantastic achievement for the Under 15 Wildcats. If everyone turns up, we will make sure everyone gets a minimum of half a game. This does mean some will play more than others but I will even this out over our next few fixtures. Those on the side can help set challenges to other players and coach their team mates.

Observations from the last game that the players identified and wanted to develop or keep up:
- put pressure on the other team by closing the gap in defence
- look up and see if there is space or a pass available - don't forget that we can kick if there's space
- be confident - girls who ran and tackled with confidence were successful
- give conversions a go
- continue to work and communicate as a team
- continue to play to the last minute
- continue to smile and have fun
- continue to applaud and praise good play no matter which team

Hope everyone is looking forward to the game and everyone has fun, learns something new, and wears the Wildcat shirt with team pride.
