Wolves held back by the Antlers, but only just

By

12 Wolves v 13 Teddington Antlers in a great display of team work and sportmanship

We've never seen such an epic! Champagne rugby, 4 backs 8 forwards, 3 cancellations 24 hours before KO and lots of players out of position. Really enjoyable stuff to watch, lots of creative play, good handling on the whole and alot more fun than lying in navel gazing.

Daniel lead well with great energy and zeal, how he kept it up for 70 minutes is anyone's guess, seconded only by a very open playing Andrew. Paddy proving that no position is beyond his ability, got busy and so nearly scored at least twice. Jeev playing the match of his season, with strident runs, always going forward with ball in hand. Jamal (what shorts!?) Giving us that defensive edge and physical presence in the loose. Louis trying to stay out of the rucks, only to be tripped up by a rogue blade of grass preventing what would have been a great breakaway try. Connor showing how he should really stick at rugby cos he's got some talent in there. Bradley, seemingly un-phased by anything physical or bigger than he is, tearing about the loose, etc etc . All the boys showed up, played well and put in a good shift and what was in the morning the game that wasn't to be, turned out to be the one of the most entertaining of the season.
