Senior section recruitment drive takes off!

In a bold move Warlingham Rugby Club in Surrey has come up with an innovative recruitment goodie to
advertise the club. In a quirky move they have produced “Warlingham RFC” branded condoms
to give out free when players and members are socialising in local bars and clubs.

Club spokesman said, “In the past we’ve used posters and other advertising campaigns
to recruit players. But we really wanted to get the Warlingham RFC name out there and what better
way than to use our brand to promote both the Club and a socially responsible attitude?
We know it’s a bit on the edge but as long as young men and women who may want to play
rugby see this as an amusing way to catch their attention and join the Warlingham family then job
done!”

In their 95th year Warlingham are training throughout the summer on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm
for both men, women, boys and girls and all are welcome to revive their rugby playing or give the game a try.
Fully qualified RFU coaches run the training sessions and Warlingham is an RFU Accredited Club
confirming the high standards required by the Rugby Union.
