I follow a line of twenty huge characters who are Past Presidents of the Club and who have steered us through our 95 years of existence. After 42 years at Warlingham I probably know the vast majority of members – many of who are life time friends – which is one of the wonderful traits of rugby in general and Warlingham in particular. But to those who don’t know me please step up and make yourselves known. It’s good to talk.
The Club thrives on players, coaches, volunteers and parents and, undoubtedly, we have the best rugby Club in the area with some of the best rugby pitches to boot!
So thank you all for being members of the Mighty Warl and a special thanks to those who do so much voluntary work for the club – no club could pay for the many hours that you volunteers put in.
Enjoy the Summer and I look forward to our 95th season, which I’m sure we’ll all enjoy together – and hopefully it will be successful for all sections.
