Welcome to the Warlingham U11's
Where are we now that we've over half the way through the season? Well, last weekend we won the Sutton & Epsom A festival which was a great achievement, especially with several of our regular A squad players missing. We are blessed with a good sized squad of 41 players, with an average of 25-30 turning up every week, meaning we can easily run 2 sides, often with plenty of reserves.
This season we've been building on the skills that the children have learnt over recent seasons, introducing new concepts as appropriate and always encouraging the children to play as a team and to enjoy their rugby - after all, that's what keeps them coming back each week!
Well done to the whole squad, who are growing steadily in confidence and ability, whether that is the biggest, strongest and fastest players in the A team or those for whom rugby doesn't come as naturally but who still want to join in, improve and have some fun.
Keep up the good work and if you want to try rugby at Warlingham please come and join us - you'll be made very welcome.
