Dear coaches and team admin/ managers, Warlingham RFC- Minis are doing our bit for Sport Relief 2016 to raise cash that will help to transform people's lives across the UK and the world's poorest communities.
This year Sport Relief is back from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th March 2016. At Warlingham RFC we intend to dedicate our Sunday home training on 20th March to raise funds for Comic Relief/ Sports Relief (and wear a red nose or two!)
We want to make the 20th March as much fun as possible. Initial suggestions are ideas such as age group parents/ coaches touch rugby, age groups to arrange sponsorship per try etc., but as a club we need your help! Please could you come forward with your ideas and commitments to make this a wonderful day for our age groups and those in need. To start us off, we have set up a main sponsorship page with sportrelief.com which takes away from us/ minimises the need for cash collection as donations can be make direct to Comic Relief/ Sports Relief. As a minimum it would assist if each age group set up a page via https://my.sportrelief.com/registration/join-team and click on the link ‘ I am joining an existing fund raising team’ and request to join the team ‘Warlingham RFC – Minis’

The next step is for all our teams to give their suggestions, albeit we are a team, individual and age group initiatives are also welcomed although all we ask is that you do this via our sports relief page so we celebrate our entire team fundraising success and ensure that the donations are deposited direct to sports relief.
We also need a small team to manage the events on 20th March, if you could dedicate a small amount of time to help in this process please could you email our fixtures secretary John at fswrfcminis@gmail.com and CC our minis chairman on peter.jerrom.wrfc@gmail.com so we can collate the fund raising ideas and share with each age group head coach/ team administrator.
