U16 Team selection

Sun Apr 26

Message from Neil Farmer:

Many thanks to all the boys who came up for training on Tuesday – a superb turn out and very constructive. Thanks also to Martin and all the parents who sacrificed some of their precious time to pop up to Warly – THANK YOU!

Our destiny is in our own hands chaps – do what we do well, concentrate, communicate and play with pace, intensity and tempo. Utilise our opportunities and be thoroughly ruthless – we are physical fitter and mentally stronger than the opposition, we work as a unit, a team, taking personal responsibility for our own game and we shall intimidate them.  Clear communication is key – ensure that others know what is going on. Liam, Guy, Charlie, Ollie – talk to each other!  In defence who are the gate keepers (call out) who has which man.  Deep support lines – pace, pace, pace!

Everyone in the squad WILL play some part on Sunday.  We now have a terrific squad, which leads to an extremely strong bench, full of impact, pace and strength and a fierce competition for places – fantastic!
